Procedure to Change or reset your Gail account password

You can change your Gmail account password for security purposes or reset it if you forget your password. Your Gmail Account password is used to access many other Google products, like Gmail and YouTube.

1. Open your Gmail Account. You might need to log in.
2. Under “Sign-in & security tab” choose Signing in to Google.
3. Choose account Password. You might need to log in again.

4. Enter your new password of Google account, and then click to select Change Gmail account Password.

Reset Gmail password

1. Follow the given steps to recover your Gmail account. You’ll be asked some questions to confirm it’s your email account and a message will be sent to you.  If you don’t get an email:

   • Check your Gmail Spam or Bulk eMail folders
   • Add noreply@google.com to your email address book.
   • To appeal another email, follow the steps to recover your Gmail account.

   • Inspect all email addresses you might’ve used to registration or sign in to your email account.

2. Now, select a password that you haven’t already used with this email account.
